Technical Talk - Stunning SIPS 7 October 2008, Thinktank at Millenium Point, Birmingham - Structural Insulated Panels are composite elements made of a layer of rigid insulation sandwiched between two sheets of structural board such as Plywood, OSB or Cement Board. Technical Talk - Mighty M&E 12 November 2008, Thinktank at Millenium Point, Birmingham - Vertical and horizontal services pre-assembled onto modular support frames has become a common feature in the commercial building sector. This approach has been extended to cover pre-assembled plant rooms, e.g. boilers, chillers, pumps, switchgear and AHUs which facilitate pre-assembly of complex units comprising several components prior to installation on-site.
