New Nuclear Opportunities Update
EDF UK National Supplier Day event, London 13th September 2010
As you may know, EDF Energy intends to build four new UK EPR reactors in the UK, with the first two at Hinkley Point, followed by two reactors at Sizewell.
To give potential suppliers more information on how to get involved in these plans, EDF Energy is holding a UK National Supplier Day event in London on Monday 13th September 2010.
Key speakers will provide an update of the current position for Hinkley Point and Sizewell C, and ensure that UK companies are aware of the opportunities that those investment plans will create. Presentations in the afternoon will be led by key EDF Energy staff from engineering and will focus on the codes and standards to be used to help companies understand the requirements for working on the project.
The event will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Broad Sanctuary, London, SW1P 3EE and will take place from 9am to 6:30pm, with registration from 8am.
