Compliance services
Compliance activities are applicable to both new construction and when an asset is in service. Our services provide evidence of conformity with regulatory or code requirements (certification), Lloyd’s Register’s Rules (classification) and duty holder’s schemes (verification).Compliance is confirmed through design appraisal, survey at manufacturers' sites, and witnessing installation and commissioning, and may include the following specific elements:

- criticality-based verification
- certification to recognised codes
- co-ordinated in-house support services
- risk-based*, as well as rule-based classification
- audits.
* Risk-based classification offers owners the option of using risk assessment techniques to justify the assignment of class. Risk assessment may be systematically applied to the whole of an installation or to individual systems, sub-systems or components.
Integrity services
Our approach to integrity management comprises a comprehensive and auditable process which allows the management of all elements of risk (design, technical and operational) throughout the entire asset life-cycle. Associated services can include the planning and implementation of risk-based inspection programmes, incorporating corrosion control and optimal NDT processes.
